1. Introduction

Campor ("Campor", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in a transparent and secure manner. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you use the Campor mobile application and related services.

Campor is designed exclusively for students enrolled at participating educational institutions.

2. Data Controller

Campor is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Service, unless otherwise specified in agreements with participating institutions.

3. Personal Data We Collect

3.1 Account Information

Full name, student email address, field of study, academic year, profile bio, and profile image if you choose to upload one.

3.2 User Content

Messages sent via chat, posts and comments, marketplace listings, event participation data, and uploaded files and images.

3.3 Usage Information

Login timestamps, device type and operating system, feature interaction data, and app performance metrics.

3.4 Institutional Integration Data

Where integration exists with an educational institution, Campor may process schedule data, course-related information, and room or location data connected to campus use.

Campor does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless explicitly required and consented to.

4. Legal Basis for Processing GDPR

For users located in the European Economic Area, we process personal data based on:

• Performance of a contract (providing the Service)
• User consent
• Legitimate interests, including security, improvements, and fraud prevention
• Legal obligations

5. Purpose of Processing

We process personal data to provide and maintain the Service, enable communication between students, display schedules and campus-related information, facilitate marketplace interactions, improve functionality and user experience, prevent misuse and maintain security, and comply with legal requirements.

Campor does not sell personal data.

6. Marketplace Communications

Marketplace communications may be reviewed in cases of reported disputes, misuse, or violations of the User Agreement, solely for safety, moderation, and enforcement purposes.

7. Data Sharing

We may share personal data with cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics and technical service providers, participating educational institutions where contractually required, and legal authorities if required by law. All service providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

8. International Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses will be implemented.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data for the duration of active account usage, as required for legal compliance, and as necessary to resolve disputes. Upon account deletion, personal data will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is legally required.

10. Security Measures

Campor implements appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted communication, secure authentication, access control mechanisms, and monitoring for unauthorized access. No digital system is entirely secure, but we continuously work to protect user data.

11. User Rights GDPR

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, request data portability, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Campor is intended for students enrolled in higher education institutions and is not directed at individuals under the age of 16.
